Scheduled Inspections & Warranty

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for any help you’re able to offer. I recently purchased a certified pre-owned 2010 Hyundai Sonata. In my service booklet there is a 37,500 mile checklist where a number of items are slated to be inspected. I don’t have the list in front of me but I think it included brakes, drive axle, and fuel filter components. Is this inspection necessary to meet my warranty requirements? If so, should it be done at the dealer? I’ve been changing my own oil a little ahead of schedule (saving receipts) to save some money and to make sure I’m happy with the job, but I don’t feel qualified to handle all of the listed inspections.

Also, when a checklist like this appears in the service booklet, is there a mileage window that can be used to keep the warranty valid? In other words, if a checklist is lists an inspection needed at 37,500 miles and I have it done at 38,000 miles, would I void my warranty?

Thanks again!

Dave
