Seat belt wires

Does anyone know what the function of the 2 wiresthat are connected to the left drivers seat belt mechanism? I understand that in a crash, the seat belt mechanism lock's up. A wiring diagram for the 2007 would help, if someone knows of a web site that I could look at.

those 2 wires are what tell the srs that the seat belt is buckled, eg. the seatbelt light on the dash goes away when the belt is buckled. the chime goes away also.

I am asking about the wires that go to the retract mechanism, down at the bottom of the B pillar.

if you go to http://www.hmaservice.comand register (free), you can get to the schematic diagrams (also free). Hint: If you don't get an email with your password, go back to the site and do the "Forgot Password" thing and it should come immediately.

Thanks Doohickie. That web site is loaded with info. I located the wires, but cannot find out what they do. I believe they activate some mechanisn that locks the shoulder belt, when there is a collision.
