ok so 1st car is 05 sonata 2.4l manual when i just replaced the lower block of this engine and went to start ran fine but the crank shaft position sensor was rubbing against the crankshaft outer ring so tried to adjust sensor no joy still rubbed then while engine was operating then while operating the motor cut off and now when i turn starter over the timing belt components wont turn but stater still motors along wondering if the senor tells the starter to engage to the flywheel if so i know my problem would be the position sensor.

 

i meant the cam shaft position sensor
