Stereo on, but no sound
Hey all!
I have a 2003 Sonata and it had a dead battery. My well meaing friend reversed the cables when trying to give my car a jump. Well, it blew the alternator fuse and a couple of interior fuses as well. We replaced all the fuses we found to be damaged, but my radio isn't working any longer. It comes on and does everything it used to, but I can't get any sound out of it. Is there a fuse for the amp and if so, where? Is there anything else I should be looking at? Did the amp blow? Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks. |
RE: Stereo on, but no sound
I'd go through all the fuses one-by-one for good measure, but for audio I'd double check fuse #25 in the fuse box under the hood and fuses #24, 26 and 28 in the passenger compartment fuse box under the driver's side of the dash.
