Default We LOVE our new 2011 Sonata

We went "just looking" at new cars last weekend...............after looking at all of the $35,000 to $45,000 cars that had all the bells and whistles we wanted....we ended up at a Hyundai dealer.
When my wife saw that Sonata Limited in the light Iridescent Ice Blue, it was love at first sight. When we opened the door and saw the interior quality and colors, that only cemented our first impressions. Driving it was impressive as well. Quiet, powerful enough, shifted so smoothly you could hardly feel it. Everything you touched or moved in the interior just showed an incredible attention to detail by the engineers.
We drove it home that same day, and every time we drive it or open the garage door to look at it (after its first really good wax job, of course!), we love it even more.

Wow.......this forum is stillborn compared to another that I frequent.....hardly worth being here....no one responds to hardly anything...
Maybe when Hyundai is the #1 seller in the US, it will be worth coming back here, huh?

Yes, the traffic here is a little less than other boards but I believe that's because we have a slightly older and more mature membership. We have very little posts from kids street racing or talking about non-Hyundai topics.

Well............maybe.
The "other" forum I belong to is by far and away more "mature"...grey hairs all.......and threads get locked for even mentioning street racing. It is typical there for threads to have hundreds of responses within a couple of days.....I think we just need a few more Hyundai's on the road to get this forum to come alive...........

What other forum are you speaking of? I just bought a 2011 Sonata and I am looking for a few good forums to discuss things in.

If you don't want to post it, then please PM me.

Thanks!

Congrats on your new Sonata! It's certainly a nice vehicle. So you're one of 18.000 owners that bought new Sonata in April...

I hope sales will increase further with new models, such as hybrid car and Sonata with turbo engine.

Hyundai sales are up -- what? -- 55% over last year? And deservedly so, I think. The turbo should help sales, but with $4.00 gas on the horizon, I am happy to have the extra MPG over the turbo.
The Sonata is a great car with features that belie its price and brand. I hope that many more people give it a look when considering this size car.....

Talking

Yes indeed --- admiring glances seem to come with the territory....as well as incredulous replies that go something like ---- "THAT's a Hyundai???!!! That is beautiful."
