why are dealers service packs --a waste

i just brought my car in for an oil change, nys inspection --its a 2009 w/11,000 miles on it -- i had a coupon for a free oil filter --my inspection fee for ny was $10 --gasket was $1.09 --4qts of oil $10.60 --they rotated my tires ---// total was $143.83 w/tax etc. --and dealers wonder why nobody goes to them for this stuff ---------they are trying to charge a $21.95 fee to dispose of oil -(are you kidding me there are 10 companies that buy used oil here ) what is a BG service kit ???? --they gave my wife a list of fees and services at different intervals and it looks like you get nothing close to what you pay for

no offense but you're nuts for letting them stick it to you like that. It's super simple to change your own oil. If you don't want to get your hands dirty firestone and other shops have coupons on their web pages. $45 synthetic oil changes, $15 tire rotations, etc etc etf
