03 Tiburon BCM and more

I've got an 03 4 cylinder Tiburon and the right turn signal has been messed up for over a year and a half. I know that this is the BCM I just have never fixed it. The other day tho I was driving and my cd player turned off, next all of the odomoter speedometer gas gauges and RPM's all dropped to the position they are in when the car is off. I was still able to drive home though. The next day the car ran normal as if this never happened. Today it did it again on my way to work and after work the car would not start. I had it jumped and the AAA guy said it was probably the battery or the alternator. After it was jumped I drove home and on the way home all the gauges turned off and it was very rough shifting gears (automatic) I knew that when it came to a complete stop the car would die, as soon as I pulled into a parking spot the car died. Now this does seem like a battery or alternator problem but knowing that the car already has a faulty BCM I am thinking this could effect the problem also. Anyone encountered this problem before?

Start the car (jumpstart if needed) and check the output of the alternator at the battery. If you are getting approx 14 volts then the alternator is okay. Next, check the battery. You should have 12.5+ volts when not running and not drop more than 2 volts when starting. If it's not 12.5+ volts or it drops below 10 volts while starting, the battery is dead, replace it. After all that, if you still get electrical problems, look into the BCM.

I have replaced the battery, the alternator AND the BCM I am still getting the same results.... The alternator is only putting out 6.2 volts but it is a brand new alternator. when I charge the battery up the car runs fine but once the battery gets drained all of the gauges go off and it dies. Has anyone encountered this before?

6.2 volts is a bad alternator. Are you sure it's "new" and not "rebuilt"? Have it tested.

I have a 2004 Tiburon and recently changed out the BCM due to a signal/hazard malfunction. The signals and hazards are working fine, but now the power locks are not working. When the door locks are manually thrown there a clicking sound coming from the BCM. Any suggestions?

Replace the BCM with the original one. If the locks work, then the replacement BCM is also bad.
