03 Tiburon V6 Electrical issues,lighting,radio,locks going out..blame it on the BCM??
 

Hello all,recently had a friend with serious issues.It's an 03 Tiburon GT V6 6 speed with an aftermarket head-unit(been installed for years).While driving down the road,and hitting the brakes causes the dash lights and radio to go out,rear park lights and brake lights,power windows do not to work either.
Also,using the signals will sometimes cause these symptoms as well.

When you put your hand up to and touch the harness' that go into the fusebox,these functions come back most of the time.Now this is all my friends description,but I am trying to help them out by looking around.
I saw it may possibly be a bad BCM,but that is just the initial thought.
Don't wanna have her spend over $500 on a non fix.
Please give your thoughts!!

Original BCM was ready to fail when new.. been through a few number changes, current part is approx $750 + install..

BCM is a very common problem on the GK Tiburon. Don't waste money on a used one because it will just die soon too.

Ok thanks!So it is pretty safe to say that is the cause of all the drama?
What needs to be done at the dealer if anything?I saw something about to reprogram the keyless remotes.
Lastly,what is the correct part number I need,and what years were they the same?
