2003 Tib SE mysterious switch...

EDIT: I've attached another picture so that it's more obvious. I don't think it's related to the after market radio only because this switch *does* exist in the manual (it's pictured) -- it's never referenced in the text....weird.

I'm looking into purchasing a used 2003 Tiburon SE and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what this switch does? It's pictured in the manual but never actually explained (which leads me to believe it's not an aftermarket addition). Anyone else have this??

I've attached a picture for clarification. You'll see the 1/0 switch right beside where the traction control button would be -- left side of the steering wheel closest button to the door. If it helps, the posting is: http://www.billmcmurrayauto.ca/used/...f1a2df5e64.htm

Thanks!!

That's not a factory switch. It might have to do with the aftermarket radio.

I think we're looking at two different things -- the area I'm looking at is the little switch that's part of the left side ventilation area. It's currently set to "off" (ie. the '0' position) but it resembles the type of switch you'd find on the back of a desktop computer to control the master power source.

I wasn't talking about the slide out compartment on the lower end of the dash on the left side (which is a coin holder).

Thanks!
