2003 Tiburon Stalled out wont start up please help
 
Hi i have a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon that stalled out two days ago like it was running out of gas then it wouldnt start back up after about a half an hour it eventually did start back up i had to keep revving it and for the rest of the day there was no problem started up fine. before i go any further let me add before all this my check engine light did come on it would come on then come off every now and then. so anyway fastfoward a day later i start up the car seems fine im driving down the road it stalls out like there was no gas putted a little bit then shut off and will not start back up . can anyone help me

Well,,,,,, your answer lies within the recovery of the code(s) associated with the MIL being illuminated.. go gte the code(s), and your repair will follow..

Please post what is recovered, I dont want definitions (I know that stuff already)... I want the code in the "P-xxxx" format.

That same thing happened to me about 2 weeks ago in my 03 tiburon and ended up being the crankshaft position sensor.

My daughters car would run fine, and then stall like it was out of gas. This would only happen in damp conditions. Had the crankshaft sensor and wire replaced. It happened again, and this time right after a car wash, at the dealer. Luck had me at the right place at the right time, and they found a bad radiator coolant module. popped in a new one, and we are now running fine, even after a carwash.
