Default Radiator fans won't run 2007 Hyundai Tiburon GT

I have replaced the coolant temperature sensor the thermostat and fan still won't cut on unless the AC is on could this be a water pump issue or something else

Has the coolant reached the correct temperature for the fans to come on?
When I replaced my radiator (due to a leak),
it took a very long time before the fans came on
But, turn the AC on and the fans instantly turned on.

As I understand the cooling system on my car ...
The ECM send a signal to the engine control relay
which sends a power to the radiator fan relay
The ECM provides a ground path to turn on the fan
The ECM gets it signal from the engine coolant temperature sensor to turn fan on or off

If you replaced the ECT then maybe check the voltage and grounds on the sensor?
The fan relays are good cause turning the AC on .. turns the fans on.

Good luck

The temp gauge stays at 3/4 of the way up usually in most cars the temp Is allwas halfway up I don't have a voltage meter so I haven't checked for ground I have a test light though

To check for grounds, I have used the test light
One side on battery positive and the probe side to where I want to see ground
If it lights then good ground
If it doesn't light up then bad ground
Note always be careful when dealing with ground paths provided by the ECU.
Don't want to fry the ECU!!!!

Multi-meters aren't expensive anymore.
A cheap one will cost around $20.
A decent one will be more like $60.
And a good one will be in the couple of hundred range

Sounds like the fans should be turning on.
The AC turns fans on instantly but the fans aren't coming on by themselves??
That means the fans are okay. They can get power and ground.
It is just the ECU is not telling it to do so.

ECT was replaced. But, don't know if the wiring is good??
