I just purchased a 2003 tiburon gt and was wondering what were some cheap upgrades i could get for my car to boost hp, acceleration, or mpg. im not looking for cheap parts just upgrades that dont require a lot of work or a lot of money. Thanks in advance for the help.

2003 Hyundai Tiburon Accessories and Upgrades

Hi Abstetar,

Quite a few of the accessories and upgrades on our site are discontinued and will no longer be manufactured. So you can manage to get them in at a "garage sale" price for a bunch of the items on site. You won't find anything for increasing performance, but maybe you want to add some mods.

If you've got a sunroof, you can get a sunroof wind deflector for $25 versus the MSRP of $60. Maybe you want some Sport Pedals (metallic foot pads) for $8.

But anyways, if you're interested, check out the site here and use the Coupon Code: codehs

That coupon code will add an additional discount of 10%.

So here's a direct link to accessories that will fit your 2003 Hyundai Tiburon.

The GT has a decent platform to work with. A friend of mine had one a while back with your basic bolt on stuff, CAI, headers, exhaust, whatnot. It did have a carbon hood, hatch, and race seats which I'm sure helped its weight some. But he was pretty much holding with my 95 mustang GT. I was really having to get into it to pull away. Not bad for a little 2.7 to hang close to a 5.0 with just a few add ons.
