RE: Dimmer Wire for Tib 03

If your gage lighting has a common ground with the gages themselves, you can't dim the illumination. On the Tiburon (as on all Hyundais I know of), the illumination lights are driven by the full 12V and the dimmer is on the ground side. If your lighting has a separate ground, you should run 12V to the dimmer lights, and instead of connecting the ground side of the lights directly to ground, connect it toa (dimmed) illumination ground. You can look all this up on http://www.hmaservice.comfor yourself. Register and it will send you a password (if the password doesn't come right away, go back in do the "Forgot Password" procedure; then it should come). Once ou get in, look up the illumination schematics (ETM) for your model and year.
