Help with Rubbing????
Sorry first post is help but this has me stumped!
2006 Tiburon 49k in miles, took it to dealer for a rubbing noise on drivers side when you accelerate or turn hard left only nothing on right side. Dealer said brakes (knew that was wrong) but replaced all brakes and rotors still there. Checked tie rods they are good, motor mounts good. Tires are good no visable rubbing on wheel well, and does not do it in reverse. I am thinking something to do with rack and pinion any ideas???????? |
Axle bearing,,, drive slow and turning it makes noise...
Put the car back up in air, and wiggle the wheel, might be able to feel slop/lash in axle bearing, but look where the CV jiont goes into the bearing on that side, see a ring of odd rust ?? |
I will take a look tonight and post back, thank you for the reply.

Had a go around with 1 myself... still had goofy sound when turn & roll slow circle... Advisor finally comes out and says they had 1 doing same thing some time ago, said look here and see if this is what you find..
