Sure, what do you have done so far?

If nothing, first thing I'd do is remove the resonator and do the Throttle Body Bypass.

You'll love the changes.

Then get a AEM Cold Air Intake and some strut bars.

Then you'll be a addict.

After that, the sky is the limit my man.

RE: parts question

Yes.

It keeps your TB cooler and from acting like an oven to your incoming air.

Check it out in the DIY section at www.rdtiburon.com

RE: parts question

Oh, the Coolant Bypass will work on any car with a heated TB. Considering ALL cars for the past several years have had heated TB's, it's sure to work on yours.

Pretty simple really.

here's the theory.

Your TB has 2 coolant lines going to it, one goes in, one takes out the fluid. In the winter, in VERY COLD climates like Canada, TB's have been known in the past to have their butterfly's freeze shut. Heating the TB keeps this from happening, or at least will thaw them out after the car is running. Well, I've never, EVER heard of someone in the Hyundai world (Including Korea, keep in mind that aftermarket BBTB's don't have the coolant nipples) having done this mod and had their TB's freeze up.

All you have to do is remove your TB, remove the 2 coolant lines going to it. Completely remove ONE coolant line from the car, and then bend the other (they are rubber) into a U shape and re attach it and clamp it on the other coolant nozzle on the block. That's it. No more "OVEN" effect on your TB. And it's free.

Patrik, here's the DIY.
