rod bearing orientation

how do I line up the rod bearings when they have no oil hole?

I have a question
I own 2008 Hyundai tiburon .gt, I'm getting a scrapping squeaky sound coming from my drivers front wheel, I assumed it was brake pads needing changed however that's not the problem... how .or what can I do to know if it's the bearings..... help

Usually they have a raised spot on the top that fits in the connecting rod so they don't spin each 1/2 will have a raised area. Make sure to check both 1/2's for oil hole.
I looked at some bearings on google. As I thought you should have a oil hole for the connecting rod and no hole for the bearing cap. Otherwise I would double check you don't have a bad set as the piston end needs oiled.

Put the front end on jack stands in front wheel drive mode. You can remove pads on that side and run about 20 or 30mph and listen. Don't put on brakes as you can blow a caliper piston.
Try running with the brake pads on and listen put a screwdriver on the bearing housing.
Usually you can hear a bearing.
