Trunk light won't go off and the open trunk light in the dash too

Hi, I have a 2000 hyundai tiburon recently the trunk light in my dash has come on and wont switch off, even though the trunk is closed I looked at it today and found out the light inside the trunk won't switch off, is there anyway I can fix this ?

Look at the "tail gate switch" for proper operation.. You may have to remove a panel or 2 to expose the striker and switch to see if it actually working as desisged, missing something, or arm bent so as to not allow it to rock and operate the switch.
