Default How many revs are normal?

Just bought a 2005 2.0l petrol trajet. What are normal revs for this car?

At 60mph its close on 2500rpm
at 70mph its about 3000+
at 80mph its about 3500

its only done 24000 miles (genuine from Hyundai/Honda dealership).

Why not calculate ?

215/65/15 tire circumference is 2075mm (roughly)

assuming manual gearbox, 5th is 0.775 , axle/final drive is 3.882 you get such table

by your numbers either your speedo reads low or your rev counter high. Or something is different from my assumptions with your gearbox (auto ?)

Yeah I know, it's 2 years late and the OP's only contribution here but maybe others may want to know.
