Hyundai Trajet front suspension
Hi there
I have a 02 trajet 2.0crdi . I noticed a knocking noise in the front of the car and upon further inspection i seen that the top part of the suspension ie . where the shock is bolted at the top is off centre in the cup or pod that bolts to the body of the car . My question can this be fixed or do i need to get a new cup or pod (my description)
Let me know if there is a quick fix as car is going for test next week

Hi there had to buy new strut insulator assembly for drivers side . seems it is a common fault with the car . (Cost of unit 80euro +vat) fitted myself so save about 200 on labour

Top mounts are rubbish!
The suspension top mounts are very weak, and as soon as you hear knocking noises when turning at slow speed they may have come detached at the top!
I have had them replaced three times in only 40,000 miles.
