Default Steering Noise

I have a 51 plate Hyundai Trajet GSI 2L, I have just started to hear what can only be described as a clunking noise from the steering that only happens when moving in and out of parking spaces.

No noise when driving at normal speeds.

Can anyone help?

You may want to spray some Belt Lubricant on the pulley and belt. I had a similiar sound when turning the wheel. Noise disappeared, If continues making sound, check steering linkages. May have a warn turn buckle or tie rod. Hope it helps a little.

Default Sounds like suspension top mounts have disintegrated

The suspension top mounts are very weak, and as soon as you hear knocking noises when turning at slow speed they may have come detached at the top!
I have had them replaced three times in only 40,000 miles.
