2005 Hyundai Tucson - Replace Starter
 

I may be looking to replace my starter in my 2005 Hyundai Tucson. Anyone have any instructions or diagrams I could use?

REPLACEMENT

1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.

2. Disconnect the starter cable (A) from the B terminal (B) on the solenoid (C), then disconnect the connector (D) from the S terminal (E).

3. Remove the 2 bolts holding the starter, then remove the starter.

4. Installation is the reverse of removal.

5. Connect the battery positive cable and negative cable to the battery.

I can't get the heat shield out. Have it loose but can't get it out of the tight space. Any suggestions?
