2006 Tucson 6Cyl - TPS

1 Attachment(s)
I am in the process of replacing the TPS (throttle position sensor) on my 2006 Tucson but am not sure where the TPS is located. I think I have an idea but want to be 100% sure.

The attached file shows what may be the TPS with the connector pointing to the right. Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks

That looks correct to me.

4. Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)
8. Idle Speed Contorl Actuator (ISCA)

Thanks a bunch. Did you obtain this from http://hmaservice.com/? If so what section? I have access but was not able to find this.

Yep. It's under the "Fuel System" section. Then "Engine Control System"

Just one other question forgot to ask. Are there any adjustments that need to be made to the new sensor or is this something where you remove the old sensor and then install the new one, plug the connector and you are done?

same question from me - i need to change the tps, looks pretty straight forward. but do i need to calibrate it or anything like that or is it just plug and play? is it a good idea to disconnect the battery whilst doing the swap? thanks.
