2011 Hyundai Tucson - HELP! Radio display & dash Lights

Hi All!

A couple issues here, the first main one.

I went to start my car and while it started, it definitely sounded odd.

My e-brake light came on,oil lamp and engine light came on. As I hit the gas, my car moved slightly out the parking spot - then would not move AT ALL! Gas all the way to the floorboard, and nothing. Anyone experience this before?

I turned my car off, waited a few min - then started my car again and it was as if nothing happened.

This has happened twice now, in the span of a few months.

Secondly - my radio display goes in and out when I start my car sometimes. I mean, it only does it every now and then when I start my car. All sounds come out, but the display is going nuts. After about a min, it kicks on and we're all set. The same thing happens sometimes, when I put my car in reverse. My backup camera displays completely black - although I can still the lines from the camera. It's either one or the other.

This doesn't always happen with the display or with backup camera.....it happens ALOT in the winter months oddly enough.

I hope I have made some sense and someone can help!

First thing I would do is get the battery and alternator checked.

That sounds weird
And when it is weird, I usually suspect shorted wiring
Especially when it is intermittent

Check wires and wire bundles in the engine bay
Especially those near metal or exhaust
There is one which pops up more ...
Look at the O2 sensor wires (the one under the car)
Sometimes the wires get rubbed against something and wears out the insulation

Good luck
