Hello all, I want to install a powered sub to the factory head unit in my 2012 Tucson. Which wire do connect the amp's remote connector to? The 12v accessory switched? The schematic I stumbled across says its red/orange. Will that work or is there a better option? Thank you. Mike

 

Some late model vehicles have a "CAN" (controller area network) in them and the radio is/can be used as one of the modules in the network. Altering anything in their set up can create unbelievable problems. Might be a good idea to check with dealership service dept to prevent some problems up the road. Things like , no start, false codes, system shut downs can take place. Good move to verify before having possible problems.
