Unhappy 2021 Tucson Heating

Hi all, new here. So i have a 2021 Tucson new shape, N-Line version. I've had the car since new, when they first come out, and up until now, very pleased with the car.

So tonight (16th Jan), I ventured out to work in the bitter cold weather, put the heating on to 25, and after 15 mins, i was only getting Luke-warm air coming out. After another 15 mins, still Luke-warm air. I switched off the car, restarted, still the same, i put the air con on to try to see if it would clear, and no joy again.

So currently it isn't very warm in my car, which isn't good as i have young children.

Has anyone else had this issue, and know if its an easy fix, before it goes into the dealers?

Thanks all

Are you or someone available to check if the engine runs for 10 minutes or so, if the heater hoses get hot?

This is a very basic check and the first place to start checking. Let us know what you find there, thanks.

So I've run the car for 15 mins, and the hoses in the pictures, some go hot, some not. I've coloured then red for hot and blue for the ones that didn't. Thanks

I'm sorry to hear about the heating issue in your 2021 Tucson N-Line. Cold air despite the heating settings could be caused by a faulty thermostat, heater core issue, or a blend door problem. Before visiting the dealer, check the coolant level, thermostat, and ensure there's no air trapped in the cooling system. If issues persist, it's advisable to have a professional inspection. Considering the potential impact on your family, a prompt resolution is crucial. Reach out to Hyundai customer support for guidance or schedule a service appointment with your dealer for a thorough diagnosis and necessary repairs. Stay warm and safe!

Thanks, so I've noticed this morning the coolant temp gauge on the dashboard doesnt raise, after an hours drive the temp hardly goes above 50°, but when stationary ot goes up to about 70°. I've called Hyundai assistance incase it damages the engine, be here this afternoon to check it over

Check the Anti-Freeze level FIRST.
