Default Alternator??

Hello. My 2015 Tucson SE is having strange Electrical issues. My Power Ports (All 3) wont charge my phone. Fuses are good. Even tried charging a camera. Bought a new charger. Only way my Phone charges is through the USB. The phone will charge any other method. PC, Fathers truck (Power port) AC adapter.

While Idling, The Voltage is 14.1. I set my Extech(True RMS) meter to AC. and was picking up some stray volts. 6-7 range. Tested at the Battery posts. When New, It charged around 14.6V. And I don't recall hearing that Whirl sound when I start in the morning. Maybe one of the Diodes is going flaky??

Sounds like it is time to first do some maintenance of the battery terminals
Take the terminals or cables off and clean them with a wire brush
Don't forget to do the battery posts also.

Now, after the maintenance, re-check the battery voltage
And start the engine, check to see the voltage on the battery if it is charging correctly
If not then check your ground points and contacts.

After all that if it still isn't any good then replace your alternator.
'Remember to test before replacing parts
