Correct name for splash guard
 

Could someone out there please tell me what Hyundai calls the engine splash guard located under the bumper below the engine. That very irritating thing you have to take off to get to the oil filter. I need to replace the missing screw clips that fell out and can't find the right ones in any online Hyundai parts site because the name does not match. I have tried shield, guard, deflector etc... but nothing ever comes up. Thanks.

A simple phone call to a Hyundai dealership parts dept should get you your answer and most likely have the retainers you need.

Under Body Skid Plate
 

It was Sunday, parts dept closed. Went down there today and after 10 minutes of tracking diagrams (because he did not know the name either) he found the UNDER BODY SKID PLATE.

I would say that was 10 minutes well spent !
