Engine light

I was driving my 2005 Tuscon last night and the check engine light came on. I took it to the local AutoZone to see if they could see what the problem was. It came up with a code P0011 and when the sales rep print out the code it came up with every make of the car except the Tuscon. He looked at it and said the Kai code was close to the Tuscon and told me it was the timing sensor and tried to sell me an $80.00 part. I did not purchase it until I know for sure if it is the problem. I have other people tell me it is the oxygen sensor. I try to search it out on the web and I came across this site and thought I would post it on here in hopes some one would know for sure what the code is or could tell me what to check.
Thanks
John

How many miles are on the car?

P0011 = Camshaft Position - Timing Over-Advanced

That could mean a few things. The sensor is bad, the timing belt is stretching or possibly the oil control valve for the CVVT is clogged.

Where is the camshaft sensor located on a 2007 Tuson??

Near the camshaft.

If you want a more specific answer please provide more specific information. Like what engine is on your 2007 Tucson.
