Hi guys….new member here.

Friend of mine has a 2006 Tucson GLS. She wants a remote starter installed and since the person that I used to use has retired from that line of work, I figure I might as well do it myself.

I'm looking to install a Crimestopper Cool Start unit. I've installed a few of these and used this model myself so I know it works fairly well.

Some question I have are regarding the Tucson……

1) Is there an immobilizer on this model?
2) Chipped key requiring the "key in the box" bypass?
3) Anything I should look out for that will give me problems?
4) Anyone install a kit in a Tucson that can offer some tips?
5) Source for 2006 wiring diagram? I checked 12volt.com and they only have for 2005 model.
