A couple of weeks ago I was involved in a minor fender bender. There is a dent in the door and fender, and minor scratches on the bumper. and the piece that is right above the wheel. I believe it is the cladding.

So I take it to the Body shop they tell me it is going to be 1600 dollars, because apparently on tuscons they cant just sand and paint over the scratches.

they are wanting me to replace the whole bumper, the cladding around the wheel, and the dents


so my question is has this happened to anyone else and am I really going to have to replace all those parts and put me 1600 dollars in car repairs.

Also adding this a 06 hyundai tuscon automatic
