Hi All, my first Hyundai (Tucson 2.7 FWD 2.7 engine)
Do all my own servicing so looking for lots of help and suggestions!!
With that can you tell me what engine oil is best for the 2.7 ltr engine (Semi. or full synthetic)

Either will be fine as long as your change it regularly. Personally, I used to use full synthetic and change it every 10k miles, but that's whet I did a lot of highway driving for work. Now, I'm only driving about 8 miles a day, all city. So since I'm only putting about 250 miles a month, I've switched to semi-synthetic and changing the oil every 3000 miles.

Would that semi-synthetic be 10w40

10W40 is too think. 5W20 is what Hyundai suggests and I use.
