Hello All
I just got a 2005 Tucson 4x4 v6 with 200300 miles :eek:
.. buts its new to me....

have paper work for New motor @ 182k
Rebuild transmission 186k

now i got it :D

Problems
#1
under acceleration it has a vibration in one of the front wheels/axle
#2
front end make noises like control arms have no bushings
#3
check engine light "ON"
p0700
p0741
p0430

that is all the problems i have come across

are these common problems?

what is the Fix? any help ?

Hello Again Still looking to Fix these bugs!!

I have started to collect some parts
2 front ball joints
4 control arm bushings

Problems
#1

1. get the wheels inspected for balance and check teh bearings and axles.

2. Inspect the control arm bushings

3. CEL:
- P0700 = Transmission Control System Malfunction (this code just lights the CEL)
- P0741 = Torque Converter Clutch Stuck Off (replace the solenoid)
- P0430 = Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold (Bank 2) (check the O2 sensors and if they are operating properly, inspect the cat)

now that ive collected all new front end parts i am now looking for Torque Specs


any help ? locations for documented specs?


ball joint nut
ball joint to spindle
tie rod nut
