Single or Double Platinum Spark Plugs 2009 Hyundai Tuscon

I decided to change the spark plugs in my used 2.0l 4 cyl Tuscon with 160k miles. The manual says use Platinum coated, so I bought 4 NGK Single Platinum and put them in. The AutoZone guy said I should buy Double Platinum.

The only thing I noticed is that the gap for my new plugs is ore gapped for 0.40 instead of 0.44. I called NGK and they said it will not make a difference.

My question is are the Single Platinum plugs ok to use, and will the gap make a difference? Thanks

If your owner's manual specifies platinum, I would stick with that.

As far as the gap, you could , if it eliminates your concern close the gap by just tapping VERY Slightly on the movable electrode and rechecking the gap.
Sometimes it is better to leave things alone than to attempt to adjust the gap without the proper tool.

Thanks. I assumed that the manual when it mentions Platinum Coated means Single Platinum spark plugs. In my case, the new ones I installed are NGK V-Power #7090 Single Platinum.

Just out of curiosity, being that I have the 2.0L 4 cylinder would NGK Iridium make a difference in better performance and fuel economy in this engine?
