Default Tucson CD Player Frozen

Hello,

I have a 2006 Hyundai Tuscon with a 6cd player. The CD player is frozen. Changing volume, track, etc. gives no response. You cannot load any CDs. The CD player thinks 5 cds are inserted, but there are none in it. Switching to AM/FM/Tape, etc work fine. The two red lights on the edges of the CD slot are permanently lit.

Is there any way to reset the Cd player? (Like holding down a secret button combination?) The only other way I can think of to reset it is to go under the hood and disconnect the radio power, but I'd like to avoid doing that. Any suggestions?

Thanks....

No secret button combination. You have to power cycle the unit by disconnecting the ground strap on the battery. The unit should disgorge all disks immediately when power is reconnected. If not, then the head unit is bad.
