Where is the EXACT location of the IAT sensor on a 2006 Tucson v6 2.7L?

I was actually. thought I'd give it a try and see what they were all about.

You seem to have some strong opposition to it - Do tell - I'm all ears.

It's not a real computer chip. It's nothing but a 10-cent resistor that changes the signal from the IAT to the computer to make the computer think the air is cooler than it really is. In turn, the computer richens up the fuel mixture. All that does is make your car run too rich and wastes fuel. It will also damage the cat but making the car run too rich.

no kidding... I thought it was supposed to be just the opposite
thanks for the heads up.

I've seem some that are the cheapy resistor looking types - and some that at least appear to be somewhat more robust than that. Looks can be deceiving I know.

Basically- you're saying they're all crap?
