xenith

Hello everyone. Just registered. I have put deposit on 2007 Tucson Xenith. Googled specs say 19 " alloys. Mine has 17" alloys. Was this an option
new?

According to this site (2007 Hyundai Tucson Xenith Special Edition tire sizes (since March 2007 for Europe U.K.)) it looks like it only comes with 19" wheels.

Welcome to the forum as well!

I guess the first owner found the ride a bit harsh. I'd better declare this to insurance.
Thanks for reply

Better have the Speedometer checked for accuracy.

Makes sense. I'll check against my sat nav. My old Vectra Speedo was about 10% slower than the Garmin.
Pick up the xenith this Friday.

From the previous Post, Sounds like the Wheels and Tires were changed. Good Possibility that the Speedo might be off. I changed the Tires on a Ford Escape. My Speedo was off. And had to be calibrated for the larger tires.

Had a reply from Hyundai technical they said that the 19" had low profile tyres giving the same rolling circumference as the 16" so either could be used with the prescribed tyre . Same would go for 17", just need the tyre that makes the rolling circumference correct.
Most speedos show a higher speed than your actual speed, usually a10% tolerance.
appreciate your advice thanks
