Battery - word of warning

On my wife's Vericruz (2008) we drained the battery accidently. It worked for a week, but she was starting, going miles to work, then starting to go home. Last week she started, drove around the corner to get gas, stopped, then click, click after filling her tank.
With gas stations in the U.S. having "pump gas only" employees she was stuck at the pump for more than an hour until someone came to jump her.
So that day I got a new battery on the way home at Pep Boys, popped it in and the positive terminal would not stay put ! Those clamps are very strange to U.S. owners, never seen them before. I then looked closely and the POSITIVE terminal was larger then the NEGATIVE ! ! Never saw that in any U.S. model. What I ended up doing was putting a piece of metal I cut from roofing flashing half way around the terminal to make up the difference. Works. So check you terminal unless you got the battery from Hyundai.
