Our 2008 Veracruz dash is having major electrical problems. It appears to happen when the car is parked in the hot sun. The dash gauges quit working, the ESC, Brake and ABS lights all illuminate, the odometer displays strange numbers and the headrest DVD players don't work. This all appears to happen until the interior cools down. The dealer, of course, can't duplicate the problem. This has not been a "one off" instance...it happens frequently and the duration has been from a few minutes to about 30 minutes.

Anyone else have a similar problem or any ideas I can pass along to the techs?

 

If I were you, I pull out all the relays, and reseat them. Or maybe it's a bad connector under the dash someplace?
