HELP!!!!! 2007 Veracruz Transmission Blows Out Unexpectedly!
 

I have a 2007 Veracruz with 74,000 miles on it. I took a 4 hour drive and suddenly my car began to smoke and transmission fluid started leaking onto every car behind me for miles. I got my car towed to a dealership and they told me they could get me a new transmission under warranty. They started to take old transmission out last night and they were supposed to put a new one today. I got phone call from dealer this morning that my veracruz has leaking power steering hose and upper radiator hose and a new battery. They estimated over $900. We told dealer they broke those hoses because we never had any leak. What should we do????

There is also another issue, I live in California and i drove to Nevada, which is where my car is at currently. Are there any specific legal repurcussions that I should know about since my car is in a different state??? :confused:

How many miles are on the car? Was the trans ever serviced? The trans fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles with SP-III fluid only. Was it?
