Help Please-GLS/LIMITED 2007 Question
 

Hi and thanks in advance for the response. This is going to sound stupid, but I bought a Veracruz and am not sure which model I have. What happened is that the dealership listed it as Limited. I noticed before buying it that there was no 'Limited' on the back of the vehicle. I asked the salesman to make sure that this was indeed a Limited and not just a GLS with an upgrade package or something. Anyway, he assured us that with the leather seats, etc that it was a Limited. Not having any prior experience with Hyundai or anything Limited for that matter, I thought that maybe they didn't put the word Limited on the back. I've since found out after looking online that they are supposed to have the Limited stamp. I assume that I have a GLS with a premium upgrade leather package or something. However, I've read where the GLS upgrade only has leather steering wheel and shift. Mine has full leather,sunroof, heated seats, power seat, infinity radio with XM, 6 disc changer,18" wheels, etc, but no conversation mirror or power liftgate. What's the deal? Looks like I paid for a Limited and got an upgraded GLS! It's been three weeks today and I've been thinking that I had a Limited that needed to go to the shop because the power liftgate wasn't working. It took me that long to read the entire owner's manual and get through the three hundred plus bells and whitles to realize why the powerlift wasn't working...because I don't have it!!!I just thought the battery in the fob was dead. So, what do you guys think? Be nice...feeling like a sucker here!:mad: This is a dealership my family has been buying from for over 15 years...had no reason to think they'd mislead me.

Does the fob have a button for the tailgate?

Thank you for your response. Yes, there is a button for the hatch-it unlocks the hatch/trunk.

From http://www.hmaservice.com. Decode your VIN to determine which model you truly have (letter of 5th digit listed). It doesn't look like a "Limited" was one of the trim options or models offered in 2006 through 2008.
