Tailgate Trim Replacement

• When prying with a flat-tipped screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.
• Put on gloves to protect your hands.
1.Using a screwdriver, remove the cap (D).

2.After loosening the screws the remove the tailgate inside handle (A).

3.Remove the side tailgate trim (C) and upper trim (B) and side trim (E).

4.Installation is the reverse of removal.

• Replace and damaged clips.

Talking how to remove upper trim(B)

How do I remove the upper trim(b) from Tailgate.
I want to seperate theoutside door handle trim from the panel.
A little of rust is developed in the outside between outside door handle trim and door panel.

Hyunda declined warranty to repair this rust because it is over 3 years in canada.( year 2008, only 55000 km, 3 year 11 months)

Thanks
