Memory pre-set seating not responding
 

I have an '08 Veracruz Limited. We bought in March of 08 it had about 3k miles, it was a dealer vehicle. And from day 1 the seats will not change position using the memory buttons unless you reach in and turn the key switch on. Since it was the only Veracruz I had been in never had the chance to test it out, and since most sales people are idiots and don't want to fix anything they told me it was normal. Well tonight I was at the auto show and sure enuf they would move there with the key switch off.

Now I before I waste my time with service, is this normal for the '08? I know there are other things that were weird. Like when I put it in reverse the side mirrors don't automatically tilt down like it says they should in the manual, but I think in the manual it says that it is an optional thing. But considering that the only option on the Limited is NAV or DVD entertainment player I should have it.

Also since I am talking about things not matching the brochures, I should have speed sensitive sound. Which I have never noticed a difference, my Pioneer in my Elantra does and works great.

So anybody else have these problems? Or not have them cuz they work correctly?

What does the owner state for operating procedures ?

It doesn't really. It just says how to set and change the position.
