About 6 months ago, my digital display for the radio and CD player began being intermitten. The sound came through fine, though. Then, about a month ago, the display stopped working altogether. Sound is still fine. Any ideas, anyone?

 

Radio is 3/36 I think... you can pay for a "float" radio (re-man), dont even want to know what cost is for new...

 

The warranty for the radio is 3y/36k so if it's under warranty, get it replaced for free. If it's not under warranty, search ebay for a used one or go with an aftermarket.

 

Unfortunately, it's well past the 3 yr/36,000 mile mark--91,000+!!! I feel like it could be a loose connection, given it was intermittent for a couple of months, before going out, altogether. However, the troubleshooting labor would/could be prohibitively expensive. I wonder how involved it would be FOR ME to try to go into it, to search for anything loose?
