Default What is this

Please click the picture that has the a/c controls. Look next to the hot/cold selector, there is a circle grill thing. What is that?? Anyone know?

It's an in-car air temperature sensor to measure the temperature inside the passenger compartment. The signal from the sensor is used by the HVAC system to regulate incar temperature by controlling the discharge temperature control, temperature door control, blower motor level control, and A/C auto control. I think it's only used with the automatic HVAC system and not the manual system you have. I guess Hyundai chose not to make 2 different fascias for the dash.

Im not sure what my Veracruz has. The picturein the post is not my car. It looks the same though.
