Cabin fan runs in 3rd&4th speed only-won't shut off
 

Blower cabin fan will not shut off- operates in 3&4 only- low speeds will not work.
Is there a relay? location?

I'm confused? Is the problem that the fan won't turn off or is the problem that it won't work on low speeds?

Both- off button does not work, fan button only controls 3&4 on hi-speeds- no low speed at all, when you shut off everything, the fan blows at top speed

Did you ever resolve this issue? I'm having the same exact problem.

Have not -don't how to remove the dash- to get to the switch- if that is the problem?

Thanks for replying. I've gotten some advice suggesting it's the blower motor resistor. You can see the shop manuals if you register at

It's located behind the glovebox in my Santa Fe. Good luck and keep me posted. I'll reply if I get any more info.
