Default Factory Radio Removal

A friend of mine purchased a 2004 Hyundai XG350 last month. Factory radio was not working and he tried to make it work, but had no luck. So he decided to install a new radio. Wondering does anyone know how to remove factory radio safely without any damage?

Thanks..

XG(XG) >2004 > G 3.5 DOHC > Body Electrical System > Audio > Audio Unit > Repair procedures

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

1.Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.Remove the center facia panel.

3.Unscrew the audio mounting screws and remove the audio assembly from the mounting bracket.

4.Installation is the reverse of removal.
