8/99 = 2000 Hyundai XG 300 with forementioned VIN,,, does any other Hyundai model share the same undercarriage ? Are you in USA ? If so, there is ongoing recall for subframe replace for those with severe rust damage/holes... The 2004 through 2006 Kia Amanti was an XG350 clone. I would guess the subframe would be the same.

I am from jugolavija-Macedonia, and few such models have in the Balkans. Main problem is the left side, whether there is a chance to Weld (argon)? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UhNaiFN8QYQ
