Default Problems solving trouble codes.

I used a code reader and it said that the crankshaft position sensor had a circuit problem. I finally got the part in but now I have to take off the crankshaft pulley (harmonic balancer) but there are no threads on the balancer so I can use a pulley puller. I need help.

To replace the crankshaft position sensor you need to get down to your timing belt. Which involves taking off the timing belt covers, removing a motor mount, and getting the alternator out of the way. It's quite the lengthy process to replace it. I would recommend taking it to a dealership or getting a manual on the vehicle.

If you're just worried about getting the crank pulley off, it's not such a big deal. Usually they just slide off once you get the crank bolt off. Normally people complain about not being able to crank pulley bolt off, not the pulley itself.
