xg350 windshield washer

Bought a low mileage 2004 in April and we're really enjoying it. However, the other day the windshield washer stopped working. I don't hear any noise when I push the button in or pull the handle toward me. Is this something others have run into? Is there a washer motor that typically will need replacing? The hoses seem fine, the tank is full. Thank you.

Check the fuse first. Then check the motor. It's located in the tank. You will have to remove the tank to access it.

Thank you very much, I'll try the fuse.

Did you find the fuse?

I have an '04 XG350L with the same problem. I've been unable to locate the fuse -- it's not listed on the panel directory.

Did you find it?

Which fuse box did you check? There are two. One in the engine compartment and one under the dash. The Wiper/Washer fuse is under the dash. Have you checked page 6-29 of your owners manual?

Nova,

Thanks very much for that reference! I had only seen the "Fuses" entry where it tells you to look under the dash...duh. The directory image from the back of the manual is what I needed.

Unfortunately, it confirms the fuse is good (wiper controls still work), so I'm off to check the wiring and motor.

Thanks again.

our pump/motor burned up/quit working about 10 miles before the warranty expired, we were lucky enough to get it repaired at no charge. so yes, the pump motor thing does quit working.
