my 2002 elantra has 144,000 miles on it. i have been offered an extended warranty for 5 years, 100,000 (more) miles. the car runs well, despite a front end accident, though the body has some dents and lots of paint issues. they are offering the warranty for $2,500+. i was thinking about getting a new car, but need time to save more money. think it is worth it? anyone purchased an extended warranty?

 

It's a lot of money considering you can almost buy whole car for that much money.
